Piano lessons NW6
Queens Park, Kilburn, West Hampstead
The piano has been called by many “the king of music,” and it is certainly true that there is no other instrument as complete and relevant as the piano in the history of music. It is the go-to instrument for most composers and the best one to start your music career.
Our piano lessons are aimed at players with little or no experience and advanced students looking to enhance their skills. We work with both classical and contemporary styles. We are confident that we will find the right approach for you. If you are a songwriter, the lessons will help you to unlock the mystery of music theory. If you are someone craving to play your favourite music, we can guarantee that every lesson will count towards your goal. These days, most students love playing pieces by Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer, Chopin, or Beethoven. A considerable number of pupils structured their practice to achieve grades (ABRSM, Trinity College of London, and Rockschool). Others like to work simply on jazz or blues improvisation or consolidate their accompaniment skills for their singing. Whatever your preference is, give yourself a chance and join the lessons to see your music journey take off.

Learn how to play the songs that you love
You may be a classical enthusiast or perhaps be more interested in pop, jazz or film music. At Music Space London, you will learn with the music that suits your preference. We believe that this will give you more encouragement. There’s no better music to learn with than the one that you are connected to.
2. Technique
Developing a good hand position is essential. It is crucial that you also acquire strength in your fingers from the beginning. This will help you to establish the bedrock for challenging pieces. We are confident that you will be able to see actual progress in a short period of time.
3. Music Understanding
Many students find understanding how music works an essential step in their learning process. Music theory is a great ally in this sense, and even though some people find it tricky, it is always advisable to be familiar with key theoretical concepts.

4. Stress-Free
Piano lessons are a great way of getting rid of the unease that you may get during the week. Playing music could be a relaxing experience that can also help you improve your confidence. Learning how to play has many benefits for cognitive development, and it is an incredible skill to boost your motor skills.
5. Personalised approach
Many students come to us looking for help to prepare for grades. We are more than happy to work with your preferred exam board (ABRSM, Trinity College, Rockschool…). We will also prepare you for any school audition or programme.
Alternatively, you may not be interested in doing grades and want to learn for fun or without the pressure of the assessment. Some students prefer to have a clear structure, while others appreciate the flexibility.
6. Qualified and supportive teachers
Our teachers will make sure that you get the necessary encouragement to keep you motivated. Our goal is to create a space where you feel relaxed and inspired. You will be able to express yourself confidently and without feeling the pressure of any kind of judgement.
