  1. Good technique

Your instrument is your body. This means that you want to make sure that you are using it properly, as you may not be able to get a different one! We would help you take care of your voice while developing the skills needed to become a great singer. This involves working on your breathing, use of diaphragm, posture, vocal range, tone, pitch precision and stylistic expression. You will learn how to express yourself through the use of an adequate chest, head and mixed voice.

  2. Confidence and stage presence

It may not be the case that you are planning to perform in front of an audience. Still, it is super important that you feel confident when facing other people’s gaze and overcome that feeling of judgement that we experience when performing. A vocal coach will help you navigate through these emotions, and this will certainly improve your sense of self to become a better singer. Singing is a great activity for boosting self-esteem, and this can be particularly helpful for those struggling with shyness. Kids can also benefit greatly from this, as they can develop more confidence through their voice and also use it as a creative tool.

  3. Personalised approach

As you may have heard, one size fits all. At Music Space London, we encourage our students to communicate their goals from the very start to make sure that the right steps are taken. Some students may want to learn how to play their favourite pop or musical theatre song, while others prefer jazz or R&B. Importantly, children require a different type of attention, and it is crucial to learn from a teacher who is trained and very positive towards working with kids. More advanced students may benefit from additional instructions such as stage performance, recording techniques, studio tips or music theory.
